These antique paynetas are just divine! I'd like to own a few one day.
I have a love-hate relationship with this cerulean blue paint.
I prefer warmer tones so this was too distracting for me.
I was quite surprised to see a few Juan Luna, Hidalgo and Amorsolo paintings at The Yuchengco Museum. I had the pleasure of viewing "Hymen, oh Hyménée!" at The Ayala Museum just a few months ago, so seeing another Juan Luna painting and being able to examine it so closely was such a treat!

Just as I was about to give up on seeing it, my husband surprised me with tickets for Miss Saigon.
I'm glad he was able to snag the last decent seats because the show was selling like hotcakes!
The view from up here wasn't bad at all. Everything would've been fine if it weren't for the loud couple singing over the cast and talking throughout the whole show and the woman behind me crossing her legs and switching them from time to time and kicking my chair in the process. I wish money could buy manners.
All rants aside, the show was amazing! I know that the show isn't without its faults, but all problematic issues aside, Abigail Adriano's voice was like butter, and Seann Miley Moore was honestly the best Engineer I've ever seen. I find Jon Jon Briones' Filipino accent too thick and distracting that it takes my mind too far away from Saigon lol, but both were great Engineers nonetheless.
Still, nothing beats Eva Noblezada, Hong Kwang-ho, and Rachel Ann Go's version of the characters for me. I may be arsed by Lea Salonga fans for saying this, but they're my favorite cast. All three actors just bring so much emotion into their characters.
I was so busy clapping and having a blast, I couldn't take a proper photo!
